The Yellow Drum Studio presents, ‘Love Gifted.‘ A fusion that will unite Dancehall and Afrobeat fans worldwide. Following the recent release of the impactful and commercially successful Blood Shot Riddim, this composition, performed by Jamaican Dancehall/Reggae artist Dimastah, is poised to resonate with both genres. The song is characterised by its vibrant, upbeat tempo and the polished vocal delivery of Dimastah, a rising star from Jamaica.
More about Jamaican Artist Dimastah
Dimastah, known by friends and family as Nahum Thomas, hails from a place called Watson Grove. A district in the community of Gregory Park, Jamaica. Educated at Bridge Port High, his interest in music started at an early age. Dimastah was predominantly inspired by international artists such as Terror Fabulous, Agent Sasco and Frisco Kid. After years of practice, he met producer and composer, Lerone Bond. This Dimastah described as “a life changing moment”, Lerone helped him develop his craft.
Dimastah discovered The Yellow Drum Studio via Instagram. After research of Yellow Drum’s projects and the success she has achieved, he reached out to Loretta Mitchell. Loretta is also known as Yellow Drum, the founder of The Yellow Drum Studio. After listening to one song from Dimastah, she was Sold! Their first project, Love Gifted, a dancehall/afrobeat fusion, was established shortly after.
