Police have released images of two people they want to trace in connection with the incident
A boy was kicked and punched before being pulled to the ground in Lincoln.
Lincolnshire Police are investigating after a boy was assaulted on the High Street in the city. The incident took place at around 6pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
Officers are now appealing to the public for help in identifying two people, who are believed to have information that could assist the investigation.
In an update shared by the force on Wednesday (February 18), police said: “We are asking for help to identify the two people in the images. We believe they may have information that will assist our inquiries after a report that a boy was assaulted on the High Street, Lincoln, at around 6pm on Wednesday 17 December 25.
“It is reported the victim was punched and kicked prior to being pulled to the ground.”
It continues: “While the images are not overly clear we believe that anyone who knows these people will be able to identify them. We would also suggest that if anyone recognises themselves they should contact us.”
