Jonathan Majors’ Alleged Assault on Ex Sparked by Text Message
New details have emerged of Jonathan Majors‘ alleged assault on his ex, Grace Jabbari, in a lengthy 115-page filing from prosecutors, RadarOnline.com has learned.
As this outlet reported, Majors was arrested on March 25 in Manhattan on charges of assault and harassment following an alleged altercation with Jabbari. A new filing from the Manhattan District Attorneyâs Office revealed disturbing and never-before-heard details of the incidentâ an event the actor denied.
The filing obtained by Variety alleged that the reported altercation happened over a text message. The then-couple was in a private car heading home to their Chelsea apartment after a party in Brooklyn when Jabbari allegedly saw a text message on Majors’ phone reading, âWish I was kissing you right now.â
That’s when the D.A. claimed all hell broke loose.
The Marvel star’s girlfriend allegedly took the phone out of his hands, leading Majors to begin âgrabbing the right side of Ms. Jabbariâs body and prying Ms. Jabbariâs right middle finger off the phone, causing bruising, swelling, and substantial pain.”
The filing claimed that Majors âthen grabbed Ms. Jabbariâs arm and right hand and proceeded to twist Ms. Jabbariâs forearm, causing substantial pain to her finger and arm. The defendant then struck Ms. Jabbariâs right ear, causing a laceration to the back of her ear and substantial pain.â
After he got his phone back, Majors reportedly exited the vehicle and Jabbari followed him. According to the new documents, that’s when âthe defendant grabbed her, picked her up, and threw her back inside ⊠[and] sustained substantial pain, including a fractured finger, bruising about her body, a laceration behind her right ear, and a bump on her head.”
Prosecutors also accused Major’s legal team of leaking court evidence, revealing the D.A. does not have plans to prosecute Jabbari for domestic violence against the actor despite his counter-claims.
The lengthy filing shows that prosecutors are trying to obtain a copy of a London Metropolitan Police report from September 2022, which allegedly references that Jabbari sought medical care. There are no specifics, but she’s a U.K. citizen, and Major was in London filing Loki during that time.
Majorsâ team accused the D.A. of withholding relevant information. However, the filing says the D.A. disclosed âa substantial amount of discoveryâ that included NYPD memo books, phone records, medical records, signed search warrants and related affidavits for the defendantâs iCloud and phone, surveillance video from eight locations and witness interview notes from nine individuals.â
