Lincolnshire murder victim named as police make new arrests
The 37-year-old died of multiple stab wounds following an incident earlier this week
A man who died following a suspected stabbing in Lincolnshire this week has been named by police.
A murder investigation was launched after the man, now named as Danny Fowler, was found in Union Street, Market Rasen at around 5pm on Thursday (March 12).
The 37-year-old, from Newtoft in Market Rasen, had been found with stab wounds and died later that day. A post-mortem has confirmed that he died from the injuries sustained from multiple stab wounds.
His family are being supported by specialist officers, police said.
A 55-year-old man, a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman have all been arrested on suspicion of Mr Fowler’s murder.
In an update, Lincolnshire Police said two further arrests were made on Friday (March 13). They said a 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were both arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
“Our thoughts very much remain with his family and loved ones at this time, and they are being supported by specialist officers,” a force spokesperson said.
“This remains an active investigation, and we continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. All information is handled sensitively and confidentially.”
