Brentford XI vs Tottenham: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest
In news that will please Fantasy Premier League players everywhere, Frank said the Cameroon international has recovered from the dead leg he suffered in pre-season.
He also revealed that four other players will be fit to face Spurs at the Gtech Community Stadium, and that left-back Rico Henry should start.
“Bryan is 100 per cent ready”, the Dane revealed. “I don’t think it’s any surprise he will start on Sunday.”
Captain Christian Norgaard and midfielder Frank Onyeka had also both been nursing injuries, but Frank’s squad has a clean bill of health if Onyeka passes a final fitness check on Saturday.
“Christian ready to be involved in the team,” he said. “Frank will be assessed tomorrow.”
Frank also said left-back Henry and Josh Dasilva are available to face Ange Postecoglou’s side, and that Dasilva will also start.
Mbeumo will start on the right of a front three, with Kevin Schade expected to operate down the left and Yoane Wissa through the centre.
Frank, 49, believes the attacking trio can plug the gap in the absence of Ivan Toney until January due to the striker’s betting ban.
