Cheltenham Festival 2025: Race card, results, winners, schedule, weather and latest odds on day three

The Cheltenham Festival action continues today with the Stayers’ Hurdle and Ryanair Chase taking centre stage.

On the second day of the Festival, Marine Nationale and Jazzy Matty, both previously ridden to victories at Cheltenham by the late Michael O’Sullivan, won the Queen Mother Champion Chase and Grand Annual respectively in the space of 40 minutes.

One of the biggest headlines heading into the festival was the return of Constitution Hill, but he fell in a dramatic Champion Hurdle on Tuesday. State Man went down at the last when victory looked certain, as Golden Ace took advantage as a surprise 25-1 winner.

Later in the week, Galopin Des Champs will be seeking a third straight Gold Cup win. Here’s everything you need to know…

Cheltenham Festival 2025 race card

St. Patrick’s (Thursday, March 13)

The penultimate day of racing at the 2025 Cheltenham Festival sees the Ryanair Chase and Stayers’s Hurdle share headline billing.

Gordon Elliott’s Teahupoo won the latter race 12 months ago but has been beaten on his only start this season and must prove he is still king of a three-mile hurdling division that has so far lacked a standout.
