David Moyes dances to The Proclaimers classic in jubilant West Ham celebrations after Conference League
The 60-year-old won his first major trophy of a storied managerial career in the Czech capital of Prague after Jarrod Bowen scored a last-minute winner to beat Fiorentina.
Moyes hailed the moment as the best of his career and soaked in the moment on the pitch of the Eden Arena with his 87-year-old father.
Having hailed his squad as āremarkableā as the class of 2023 wrote themselves into the clubās folklore, the Scotsman joined in with the jubilant celebrations.
After dancing on the pitch, Moyes was captured on video dancing to āIām Gonna Be (500 Miles)ā by the Scottish band with a beer in his hand as his squad enjoyed the history-making moment with their manager.
Reflecting on his journey to making new history in east London, Moyes said: āIf somebody had said three years ago when I took the job that youād avoid relegation and finish in Europe and Iāve said you were mad. This competition has been great for us, the players have been remarkable.ā
