Fixtures, dates and prize money as EFL clubs enter 2023-24 competition

The draw for the FA Cup first round proper has been made with a number of eye-catching ties involving EFL and non-league clubs to be played at the start of November.

All 24 clubs from League One and League Two will enter the competition following the conclusion of the six qualifying rounds which featured 640 non-league clubs in total.

One of the standout fixtures sees League One leaders Portsmouth travel to Chesterfield to take on the National League pace-setters, managed by their old boss Paul Cook.

Fellow National League high-fliers Bromley and Solihull Moors also have fixtures against League One opponents to look forward to, with the former hosting Blackpool and the latter taking on Bolton Wanderers.

Elsewhere, League Two frontrunners Stockport are in action against Northern Premier League outfit Worksop Town, while Cray Valley and Horsham of the Isthmian League can look forward to games against Charlton Athletic and Barnsley respectively.

Wrexham are up against fellow League Two promotion chasers Mansfield Town.

The first round fixtures will be played between Friday 3 November to Monday 6 November and the prize money for the winners of each tie stands at £40,000.

Premier League and Championship clubs will enter the competition in the third round, which is scheduled to take place on the first weekend of January.
