Man Utd vs Chelsea: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds today
The Red Devils need just a point from their final two matches of the season to guarantee a top-four finish and return to the Champions League next term, with Fulham to come on the final day.
Having already ended the club’s six-year trophy drought in the Carabao Cup earlier this year, Erik ten Hag leading United back into Europe’s top-tier competition would be a major stride forward during his first year in charge, with an FA Cup final clash with Treble-chasing City also to come at Wembley on June 3.
The situation, however, could not be more different for Chelsea.
The Blues are playing for absolutely nothing and need what has been a nightmare season to end as quickly as possible as they await the arrival of new boss Mauricio Pochettino, sitting down in 12th after dire form under interim boss Frank Lampard.
Date, kick-off time and venue
Manchester United vs Chelsea is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off time tonight, Thursday May 25, 2023.
Old Trafford in Manchester will host the contest.

Ten Hag confirmed that Marcus Rashford will likely be fit to feature against Chelsea having returned to training following illness and injury.
Donny van de Beek and Lisandro Martinez remain long-term absentees while Wout Weghorst will look to oust Anthony Martial in attack. Marcel Sabitzer is also sidelined, along with Phil Jones and Tom Heaton.
For Chelsea, Benoit Badiashile is out with what is feared to be a long-term hamstring injury, joining Mason Mount, Reece James and Ben Chilwell in missing the rest of the season. Joao Felix, however, will return.
Lewis Hall, meanwhile, looks set to continue in a left wing-back role. Kalidou Koulibaly, N’Golo Kante, Armando Broja, Mateo Kovacic, Marc Cucurella and Marcus Bettinelli are also injured.
Manchester United vs Chelsea prediction
Chelsea are in such dire form at the moment and Lampard has even questioned the commitment of some of his players. There is nothing to suggest that they are capable of beating a United team so good at home.
Man Utd to win, 3-1.
Head to head (h2h) history and results
The last five meetings between these teams have resulted in a draw, two of which were goalless. It means Chelsea are unbeaten at Old Trafford since August 2019, when Rashford hit a brace for United.
