Maro Itoje exclusive: I’m close to signing new Saracens contract, the last bit of my career will be the best

“I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved in my career so far, but by no means am I satisfied,” said Itoje, already eyeing England’s Six Nations opener in Italy on February 3. “If I were to end my career today, I would be a little bit sad, because I don’t think I’ve achieved everything I want. I want to make sure that however many more years I have, they are the best of my career.”
