Today’s Olympics schedule: Team GB events, Day 8 medal highlights and how to watch Paris Games

The Olympics continue on Saturday with another slew of medals set to be won in Paris amid a typically hectic Games schedule.

The women’s 100m final takes centre stage as the athletics action ramps up at the Stade de France, but that is far from the only highlight.

Team GB will be out to increase their medal tally even further, having set a new national record for the most golds secured in the first week of an Olympic Games with nine after a memorable treble on Fantastic Friday.

Men’s cycling road race – 10am

We’re back out on the road for the first of this weekend’s cycling races spanning 273km on a city circuit featuring plenty of gruelling climbs that both starts and finishes at the Place du Trocadero.

The likes of Mathieu van der Poel, Remco Evenepoel, Wout van Aert and Mads Pedersen will hope to battle for gold.
