The summer transfer window will open next week and all of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are expected to be busy. All three ended the domestic season in fairly disappointing fashion and could embark on major summer spending sprees to challenge towards of the Premier League next time out.
Not only are the Gunners strongly linked with a move for Declan Rice but it is now said they are eager to sign Moussa Diaby too. The French international has long been linked with a move to north London and is said to be a major target.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are reported to have won the race to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Manuel Ugarte and could follow that up with a huge move for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen. Spurs are linked with Fulham’s Manor Solomon, while Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be close to signing Diogo Costa and Manu Kone respectively. Arsenal will not sell Emile Smith Rowe despite quiet season for academy graduate
Arsenal have no plans to sell Emile Smith Rowe this summer, despite his lack of football this season.
The 22-year-old missed the first half of the season after undergoing surgery on a long-term groin issue and in total played only 195 minutes in all competitions.
All 14 of his appearances came as a substitute and it was thought Smith Rowe could be sold as Arsenal look to help fund their transfer plans this summer.
But the Gunners have no intention of letting Smith Rowe leave and he hopes to play a more important role in the team next season.

Brentford complete £11m Mark Flekken signing as Tottenham eye move for David Raya
Brentford have completed the £11million signing of goalkeeper Mark Flekken, paving the way for the exit of Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United target David Raya.
Flekken, 29, joins on a four-year contract from Freiburg after keeping 13 clean sheets in 34 Bundesliga matches this season.
Brentford have put a £40m price tag on Raya, who has one year left on his contract and is being lined up by Spurs as a potential replacement for Hugo Lloris.
