Transfer news LIVE! Arsenal want Lavia; Chelsea plot Kolo Muani bid; Tottenham eye Toney; Onana to Man United
The summer window is in full swing and now clubs are dotted across the globe on pre-season tours – but that is not stopping the spending. Arsenal have already splashed over £200million but Mikel Arteta wants more signings amid continued links with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia and Gremio midfielder Bitello.
Chelsea have been more interested in outs than ins in recent weeks, but hope to land no1 target Moises Caicedo this week in a deal which is expected to cost north of £70m. A new bid will imminently be sent to Brighton for the youngster. Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani is the latest striker to be linked.
Tottenham have already added three new faces but want a new defender and could be forced into the market for a new striker, should Bayern Munich sign Harry Kane. Micky van de Ven appears to be the centre-back of choice, while Ivan Toney could across London to replace the England captain. Elsewhere, Manchester United look to have finally wrapped up a deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal still keen on Romeo Lavia
Arsenal continue to hold an interest in Romeo Lavia.
According to the Mirror, Liverpool are still leading the chase for the Southampton midfielder with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho likely leaving.
But the Gunners have been in contact over a move for the 19-year-old, who is valued at £50million, all summer despite spending big on Declan Rice.
Lavia is expected to leave St Mary’s this summer following the club’s relegation to the Championship.
Chelsea make Randal Kolo Muani a key target
Chelsea have turned attention to Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
According to RMC Sport, Mauricio Pochettino has already decided he wants another striker this summer – as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku head for the exit door – and Kolo Muani is his preferred target.
Frankfurt would demand a significant fee for the 24-year-old France international.
Bayern Munich would be next in line should they fail to sign Harry Kane. Tottenham would be next in line should they fail to keep Harry Kane.
Inter’s first bid for Balogun revealed
Inter Milan have made Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun their no1 striker target after walking away in fury from talks to sign Romelu Lukaku, writes Nizaar Kinsella.
The Gunners are ready to cash in on the 22-year-old, who excelled on loan at Stade Reims last season by scoring 22 goals in 39 matches.
Inter were set to bid around £34m for Lukaku and are not ready to put the same money in for Balogun.
Spurs weigh up Toney bid
Tottenham are weighing up a move for Brentford’s Ivan Toney should Harry Kane leave.
Football Transfers claim Spurs will not rush into signing a replacement with both Heung-min Son and Richarlison ready to play as a central striker, and could launch a January bid for Toney once the striker’s betting ban ends.
Toney is unable to train with Brentford until September and cannot play until January 16.
Coincidently, his first game back for the Bees would be against Spurs.
Man Utd to finally sign Onana
Manchester United are finally set to sign Andre Onana today.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Inter Milan shot-stopper has agreed a five-year contract at Old Trafford and has been booked in for a medical.
Onana will then immediately fly out to join the club’s tour of the United States to make his debut.
Kane to reject PSG
Harry Kane will reject a move to PSG this summer, leaving him with two options: stay at Tottenham or join Bayern Munich.
According to the Independent, Spurs have offered Kane a new £400,000-a-week contract to see out his career at his boyhood club.
But Bayern are not giving up on a deal without a fight and are set to lodge a third bid for Kane after their latest – worth around £70m – was rejected.
Aubameyang to leave Chelsea for Marseille
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on the verge of leaving Chelsea.
The former Arsenal captain’s spell at Stamford Bridge has been something of a disaster and he was always expected to form part of their summer exodus.
Interest in Aubameyang, 34, has initially appeared low, but Fabrizio Romano now reports that the Gabon striker has agreed a three-year contract with Ligue 1 giants Marseille.
Aubameyang is said to be keen on a move to France and negotiations between OM and Chelsea are expected to progress smoothly and quickly this week, with the player omitted from Mauricio Pochettino’s USA tour squad.
Done deal! Fulham re-sign Willian on one-year deal
Willian’s return to Fulham is now official.
As Standard Sport confirmed earlier, the former Chelsea and Arsenal winger is back on an improved one-year deal after impressing at Craven Cottage last term and pulling out of a move to Nottingham Forest at the 11th hour.
“I’m completely happy. Happy to sign one more year with Fulham,” Willian told FFC TV.
“Happy to continue the work that I did last season with all my teammates and the whole Club. I think it’s a club that can do even better this season, so I’m happy to continue this amazing adventure.”
Chelsea join race for Japan wonderkid Keisuke Goto
Chelsea have entered the race to sign Keisuke Goto, reports claim.
The young Japanese forward, 18, has turned heads with his performances for his country’s Under-20 side and J2 League club Jubilo Iwata.
West Ham, Ajax, Feyenoord and Sevilla have also been credited with an interest in the 6ft 3in striker, though the Daily Mail report that Chelsea are keen to make him their next youth signing following deals for the likes of Angelo Gabriel, Diego Moreira, Kendry Paez, Dujuan Richards, Alex Matos and more already in this window.
Goto was recently forced to withdraw from Japan’s U20 World Cup squad due to injury, but apparently that is not dissuading interest in a summer transfer.
No Andre Onana to Man United announcement yet
There will be no confirmation of Andre Onana’s much-anticipated move to Manchester United tonight, it seems.
The hope had been among fans that a protracted switch to Old Trafford for the Cameroon goalkeeper worth around £47m would finally be completed and announced this evening.
However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano now reports that Onana is still with Inter Milan at their pre-season training camp and is waiting to travel to Manchester in order to sign his contract and undergo a medical.
He will apparently make the trip later this week, so still some time to wait yet.
