Chelsea’s latest approach for Moises Caicedo has been pushed back due to the focus on selling players.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that the Blues initially intended to bid for the Brighton midfielder this week, but had their attention turned to agreeing exits for the likes of Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech.

Nketiah considers Arsenal future
Eddie Nketiah is reportedly concerned about the expected arrival of Kai Havertz at Arsenal.
The Sun reports that the 24-year-old wants regular first-team football and fears that the signing of Havertz, who will have a medical this weekend ahead of completing his £65m move, pushes him further down the pecking order.
Crystal Palace and West Ham have been put forward as possible destinations should Nketiah leave the Gunners this summer.
Nkunku has done his research
Christopher Nkunku has revealed his excitement to work with Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea, after speaking to players who have previously played under him.
The 25-year-old’s move to Stamford Bridge was officially confirmed earlier this week, joining from RB Leipzig on a six-year-deal for a fee in the region of £53million.
Nkunku signed a pre-contract agreement in December, when Chelsea were managed by Graham Potter, but it will be Pochettino in the dugout when the Frenchman makes his first appearance for the club.
While he has not yet had a conversation with his new manager, Nkunku revealed he has discussed Pochettino with some of the PSG players the Argentine managed during his time in France.
“I have not had a chance to speak to him, not yet,” Nkunku told Chelsea’s official website.
“I spoke to some of my friends from Paris about him a little bit. I speak about him a little bit with some of the players. They told me that he’s a very good coach and I’m excited to work with him.”
