Transfer news LIVE! Arsenal plot Mbappe bid; Rice update; Chelsea make Caicedo move; Man United, Spurs latest
As the summer window enters July, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham remain among the busiest clubs so far. The Gunners believe they have finally reached a full agreement with West Ham to sign Declan Rice for £105m, and are also close to sealing a £40million deal for Jurrien Timber, having announced the arrival of Kai Havertz, to take their spending beyond £200m. They have now been linked with Kylian Mbappe.
Chelsea and Manchester United have agreed a £60m deal for Mason Mount, who will undergo a medical on Monday. The Blues then want Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga having completed the signing of Nicolas Jackson, while Hakim Ziyech’s move away from Stamford Bridge has collapsed. United hope to follow up Mount’s arrival with a deal for goalkeeper Andre Onana, with a breakthrough made over his fee as David de Gea has so far failed to agree a new contract.
Tottenham have already spent more than £80m this summer, most recently signing James Maddison, and are now looking to bolster their defence with Edmond Tapsoba, Micky van de Ven and Gleison Bremer all of interest. Harry Kane is set for talks over his future as Bayern prepare a second bid, while Liverpool are set to sign Dominik Szoboszlai. Follow all the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

Arsenal make Rice breakthrough
Arsenal are on the verge of agreeing a £105m deal with West Ham to sign Declan Rice.
Following recent reports that the transfer had been delayed by the Gunners apparently being less-than willing to compromise over the structure of the payments, a breakthrough is now close.
According to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg, West Ham want the guaranteed part of Rice’s fee to have been paid by the end of next year.
The white smoke of a ‘done deal’ is not far away…
Spurs could sign Tapsoba and Van de Ven
Tottenham have made Edmond Tapsoba their top target for defence.
According to Football.London, Bayer Leverkusen want around £35million for their player.
Spurs will turn to Micky van de Ven as a cheaper alternative if they can’t agree a deal for Tapsoba.
But there is a chance Spurs could sign both, while Clement Lenglet remains an option.
Colwill wants Pochettino talks after contract offer

The 20-year-old has a long-term deal on the table but wants clarity over his squad role and will first speak to Pochettino, who begins work as manager on July 3.

Arsenal want Mbappe
Arsenal are plotting a remarkable bid to sign Kylian Mbappe.
According to Football Transfers, the Gunners believe they can lure the player to the Premier League next summer when his PSG contract expires.
He will not be signing an extension, so PSG may decide to cash in this summer. Real Madrid are believed to the likeliest destination be it this year or next.
The same website claims Mikel Arteta is also a fan of Aurelien Tchouameni.
Liverpool trigger Szoboszlai release clause
Liverpool have triggered Dominik Szoboszlai’s £60m release clause just hours before it expired.
According to the BBC, the Reds have hit the button to land the Hungarian winger from RB Leipzig with personal terms already agreed.
A medical will now be arranged for the 22-year-old’s transfer.
It sees Newcastle miss out on their second transfer target inside three days.
Man United nearing Onana deal
Manchester United are set for a breakthrough in talks over Andre Onana.
Inter Milan’s financial concerns have pushed them towards lowering their price tag for the goalkeeper, to just £43m.
That’s according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian journalist saying that talks are set to continue between the clubs.
Inter have even lined up Chelsea target Anatoliy Trubin as Onana’s replacement, it is claimed.
Chelsea line up new bid for midfielder
Gabri Veiga is Chelsea’s top target to replace Mason Mount.
Celta Vigo will be powerless to let the young midfielder go if a club meets his £34.6m release clause.
However, Chelsea are joined by Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle in the race for the 21-year-old talent’s signature.
Mason Mount medical booked in
Mason Mount will undergo his Manchester United medical on Monday.
Chelsea have accepted an initial £55m sum for the academy product, with £5m in add-ons.
Should all go to plan, Mount will put pen to paper on a five-year contract after failing to agree on a new deal with Chelsea.
Jurrien Timber set to join Arsenal
Arsenal are set to make Jurrien Timber their next summer signing.
A deal worth £40m has been agreed verbally between the Gunners and Ajax, £4m of which will be bonuses.
Talks are expected to be concluded over the weekend with both clubs keen to get the deal over the line, and Timber excited by the prospect of moving to Arsenal.
