The summer transfer window is well and truly hotting up with deals and bids landing left, right and centre for the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. The Gunners are fighting Manchester City for Declan Rice but the Premier League champions have seen their opening offer for the England midfielder rejected by West Ham. Rice’s price tag remains £100million, with the Gunners preparing a third bid.
Jurrien Timber is another player Arsenal are bidding for while Chelsea are pushing to land Moises Caicedo, with Nicolas Jackson’s deal in the bag and an announcement imminent. Kai Havertz’s switch from Chelsea to Arsenal is also not far off after he completed a medical weekend, while the Blues are keen on Gunners wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri and a shock swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic.
Elsewhere, Tottenham are set to unveil new goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison has agreed personal terms. Manchester United may be out of the race for Harry Kane but Bayern Munich have reportedly made an official offer of £60m for the striker. Osayi-Samuel eyes Premier League move
Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has eyes on a move to the Premier League.
The former QPR full-back moved to the Turkish giants in 2021 but has been linked with a return to England.
Brentford and Bournemouth have both been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, along with Scottish giants Rangers.
“I think everyone knows that my ambition is to play English football, to play in the [English] Premier League, you know,” he told Soccernet Nigeria.
“No disrespect they [Fenerbahce] have done some much for me there [in Turkey].
“But my ambition is to play in the Premier League. So when I feel that the time is the right time for me to go, I will take it.”
Spurs confirm Kane stance
Tottenham are adamant they will reject any offer from Bayern Munich for Harry Kane, after the Bundesliga champions launched a move to sign the England captain, writes Nizaar Kinsella.
The Athletic reported this morning that Bayern had made a formal offer of £60million plus add-ons for Kane.
Spurs say they have not received any bid for Kane but have insisted any offer to sign the 29-year-old would be immediately rejected.

Fulham line up Robinson replacement
Fulham have identified AC Milan left-back Fode Ballo-Toure as a target should Antonee Robinson leave.
Newcastle and Manchester City are among the clubs interested in Robinson, who has indicated he wants to move to a bigger club and is valued by Fulham at £35million.
Ballo-Toure, 26, played just 14 times in an injury-hit season for the Italian giants and also has interest from Hoffenheim.
Elsewhere, Fulham are confident they will keep hold of star midfielder Joao Palhinha, despite interest from West Ham.

Vicario add-ons revealed
Guglielmo Vicario’s move to Tottenham is set to be completed this week, with the goalkeeper arriving from Empoli.
The fee is in the region of £17m, with TuttoMercatoWeb providing some more information on the add-ons involved in the deal.
It’s claimed that three of them are easily achievable, but there are two more linked to Spurs winning trophies in his first season in England.
Pearson hits back at Scott rumours
Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson insist Alex Scott’s potential departure is not a forgone conclusion.
The midfielder is one of the most highly-rated young players in the country and has been tipped to make a move to the Premier League this summer.
West Ham are interested in the 19-year-old and are understood to have held initial talks with the teenager’s representatives.
“Let me be absolutely crystal clear on that from my own perspective, anybody that we are either interested in or trying to sign or looking at in midfield is not to make room for then Alex Scott going, that’s not what we’re doing,” Pearson said.

Chelsea eye Arsenal wonderkid
Chelsea and Manchester City are fighting to sign Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri.
The attacking midfielder became the youngest player in Premier League history when he came on during a 3-0 win over Brentford last September. He was just 15 years and 181 days at the time and is regarded as one of the country’s top prospects.
Arsenal have until Friday — when his schoolboy registration runs out — to agree scholarship terms with Nwaneri, but they face competition from the Blues and City, the two clubs renowned as the highest payers when it comes to academy players.

Chelsea consider Vlahovic swap deal
Chelsea are open to the possibility of including Romelu Lukaku in a deal to bring Dusan Vlahovic to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Telegraph, Juventus are keen on signing Lukaku, who appears to have no future at Chelsea as the Blues look for a permanent buyer.
Juventus see Lukaku as a possible replacement for Vlahovic, who Chelsea consider to be a possible answer to their striker problems.
Bayern submit Kane bid
Bayern Munich have submitted an opening bid for Harry Kane.
The Athletic report that Bayern’s written offer is €70m + add-ons, after Sky Germany claimed that Kane had given the Bundesliga giants encouragement that he wanted to make the move.

Maddison agrees personal terms
Tottenham have agreed personal terms with James Maddison.
Fabrizio Romano reports that talks between Spurs and Leicester are underway, with Daniel Levy pushing to close a deal as quickly as possible.
Leicester are holding out for £60million for Maddison, while Spurs hope to negotiate a lower fee and are thought to be preparing an opening offer of £40m up front plus add-ons.
Rice bidding war intensifies
Arsenal are ready to make an improved offer for Declan Rice after Manchester City had their opening bid for the West Ham captain rejected.
The race to sign Rice has intensified after City made a formal offer worth an initial £80million up-front plus a further £10m in add-ons.
That bid was turned down by West Ham, who are holding out for at least £100m for the England midfielder and hope to spark a bidding war between City and Arsenal.
Arsenal had their bid of £75m plus £15m in add-ons rejected last week but are preparing a fresh offer for their top summer transfer target.
Rice has previously indicated his preference was to join Arsenal this summer, but concrete interest from City will be a concern for the Gunners.
