Transfer news LIVE! Arsenal ‘sign’ Havertz, Rice bid; Jackson to Chelsea; Man United want Ramos; Spurs latest
The transfer window is now open and Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all busy on deals. The Gunners have seen an opening bid for Declan Rice rejected, and are now preparing a huge second bid, and have reportedly also seen a first offer for Kai Havertz turned down by rivals Chelsea in a busy start to the summer.
The Blues, meanwhile, have agreed personal terms with Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson and are also working on signing a new midfielder. Brighton star Moises Caicedo is strongly linked with a number of big clubs but wants to move to Stamford Bridge, with Arsenal focused on Rice. Manager Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, though Manchester United are also eyeing the 27-year-old.
Over at Tottenham, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes have reportedly been the subject of a double bid following Leicester’s relegation, while Dejan Kulusevski is finally set to join permanently for around £25m. United have given up on bringing Harry Kane to Old Trafford, and will instead turn their focus to Victor Osimhen, Goncalo Ramos and Rasmus Hojlund. Man City continue push for Gvardiol
Man City are making progress in their bid to sign Josko Gvardiol this summer.
Fabrizio Romano reports that City are in successful talks with the defender’s representatives over personal terms, but are yet to reach an agreement with RB Leipzig.
The German club insist they will only sell the centre-back for a huge fee as they are keen to keep him for at least one more season.
Chelsea end Onana interest
Chelsea have ended their interest in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Blues are keen to sign a new goalkeeper this summer to compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga, with Edouard Mendy set to leave, and first held talks with Inter in April over a deal.
However, Chelsea will now move on to other targets, leaving Manchester United as favourites to sign a player expected to cost around £50million.
As previously reported, alternative options to Onana include Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel and Brentford’s David Raya.

Chelsea close in on Jackson
Chelsea hope to complete a £30million deal for Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson in the coming days.
As exclusively revealed by Standard Sport this week, the Blues are working hard on a deal for the 21-year-old after face-to-face negotiations and an agreement over personal terms is near.
Chelsea are acting quickly to secure the Senegal international after he was targeted by both AC Milan and Aston Villa, while the calibre of clubs interested continue to increase after Jackson scored nine goals in his final eight LaLiga games of the season.
Jackson represents a cheaper option than both Napoli star Victor Osimhen and Atalanta youngster Rasmus Hojlund, who remain of interest.

Spurs lead race for Maddison
Tottenham have moved ahead of Newcastle in the race to sign James Maddison.
According to reports, the Leicester midfielder is a key target for both and the Magpies had hoped they were more of a pull due to Champions League football.
But not so. Latest reports claim Spurs remain the more attractive offer for a player they have tracked for some time.
Chelsea still keen on Veiga
Chelsea remain in the hunt for Moises Caicedo but remain interested in Gabri Veiga.
Celta Vigo youngster Veiga has been the subject of a bid from the Blues, which is understood to be enough to trigger a £34million release clause.
Brighton midfielder Caicedo remains the current focus, with negotiations over the deal progressing slowly.
But Chelsea are expected to return to Veiga soon, report The Guardian.
Man United rival Chelsea for Onana
Manchester United are considering a move for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
David de Gea’s contract is up at the end of the month and United have confirmed that they remain in talks with the Spaniard over a new deal, with a goalkeeper signing expected regardless of whether De Gea stays at Old Trafford.
Chelsea have strong interest in Onana themselves, but The Athletic report they could face competition from United. The 27-year-old has previously worked with Erik ten Hag at Ajax.
Spurs to keep English wonderkid
Tottenham have tied English wonderkid Mikey Moore down to a new contract.
According to The Athletic, the 15-year-old signed fresh terms on Friday to commit his long-term future to the club.
Moore is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in the game and was attracting plenty of interest from both English clubs and abroad.
Tying Moore down is considered a coup for Spurs.
Huge double blow for Man United
It looks like Manchester United are going to miss out on both their top defensive target and top striker target.
After admitting defeat in their pursuit of Harry Kane, now Kim Min-jae is closing in on a move to Bayern Munich.
Fabrizio Romano claims the German giants are working on a deal and a contract until 2028 has almost been agreed.
The defender has a clause in his Napoli contract which allows him to leave for around £50m during the first two weeks of July.
United are yet to bid.
