The transfer window officially opens in two days and all of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are expected to be busy. Declan Rice is on the verge of a move to the Gunners with a transfer fee worth north of £100million set to be agreed with West Ham.
For Chelsea, a new goalkeeper is said to be on the agenda with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana the leading target on that front and a huge offer of a swap deal including Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly could be forthcoming. Rasmus Hojlund is also of interest while Mason Mount’s future continues to be uncertain.
Over at Tottenham, David Raya could become their first new signing of the Ange Postecoglou era, while James Maddison and Jadon Sancho are also reportedly of interest. Manchester United are ready to turn their attentions to Randal Kolo Muani and Kim Min-jae. Over in France, PSG are dealing with a bombshell contract decision from Kylian Mbappe. The PSV Eindhoven midfielder became linked with the Gunners earlier in the summer, while he could also head back to PSG via a fairly cheap buy-back clause embedded in his contract.
TMW claim Bayern could throw a spanner in the works for both PSG and Arsenal, although a move back to Paris is not thought to be Simons’ preference.
Real Madrid hot on Kylian Mbappe’s trail
As if by magic, Marca have popped up with a report naming Real Madrid as the best-placed bidder to sign Kylian Mbappe.
The L’Equipe report states that PSG will try to tie the striker down to a new contract this summer or sell him – to avoid him going on a free.
Los Blancos will certainly fancy their chances having let Karim Benzema go this summer, yet their previous failed attempts to land Mbappe may have soured their relationship.

BREAKING! Kylian Mbappe hands PSG bombshell
L’Equipe are reporting tonight that Kylian Mbappe has handed down a major decision on his future to Paris Saint-Germain.
In a letter delivered to the French club this afternoon, Mbappe has reportedly informed them that he will NOT be taking up an option to extend his contract past 2024.
That means, all of a sudden, he is just 12 months away from being out of contract (and his last contract saga feels like yesterday!).

BREAKING! Arsenal set for £100m Rice deal
Arsenal are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Declan Rice.
The Guardian report on a fee worth north of £100million being discussed between the Gunners and West Ham.
The bid, once officially submitted, would feature a large initial fee in the £90m range with add-ons taking the deal past the nine-figure mark.
Personal terms are not thought to be an issue once the fee is agreed.
It is also added that the chances of Bayern Munich, Chelsea or Manchester United arriving late to gazump the Gunners is fading.
Arsenal knocked back in Declan Rice bid?
Arsenal have suffered a blow in their bid to sign Declan Rice.
Well, something of a blow. Former Liverpool defender Luis Enrique and noted social media pundit has claimed the West Ham midfielder is off to Bayern Munich.
“He is going Bayern Munich [sic], I believe,” he wrote on Instagram.

Chelsea midfielder decides to leave
Mateo Kovacic wants to leave Chelsea.
That is according to the Mail, who report on the Croatian being ready to sign for Manchester City.
The two clubs are yet to agree a fee for Kovacic amid reports he has settled on personal terms with the European champions.
