The last bank holiday of the year – other than Christmas and Boxing Day – is already upon us, giving people the chance to enjoy some sunny weather over the long weekend.
Many people around the UK will unfortunately see some rain at some point over the weekend, with most of the showers forecast for northern and western areas, but there will also be plenty of dry and bright weather, even if temperatures aren’t quite as high as they were early in the week.
Bank holidays come as welcome news to most people, but they might also cause you some difficulties if you needed to nip to the shops for supplies at short notice. Here’s when each major chain’s stores will be open over the weekend.
Tesco
There are different opening hours for larger and smaller Tesco stores. Many larger ones will follow this general pattern:
- Saturday – 6am to midnight
- Sunday – 10am to 4pm
- Monday – 8am to 6pm
Smaller Tesco Express stores tend to open at the following times:
- Saturday – 6am to 10/11pm
- Sunday – 6am to 10/11pm
