Lee Anderson tells migrants ‘f*** off back to France’ if they don’t want to stay on barges

The Bibby Stockholm accommodation barge for asylum seekers is “safe” and it is “reasonable” to house people there, Justice Secretary Alex Chalk has said this morning.

It comes as the Government has announced a new “task force” to identify unscrupulous lawyers after reports that false asylum claims are being submitted for a fee.

The Daily Mail reported that a number of solicitors agreed to help an undercover journalist posing as an economic migrant submit a false application in exchange for thousands of pounds.
