The 55-year-old was last seen in Norwich and had failed to return home from work on Friday.

She had been working as a retail assistant at Jarrolds department store in the city centre, and was due to finish at 4pm.

CCTV footage released by Norfolk Constabulary showing her jogging up Bedford Street at 2.47pm. It is unclear why she left work early.

She was then seen crossing the road into Tombland, and half an hour later, CCTV captures her leaving the grounds of Norwich Cathedral, but police said it is not clear where she goes inside the cathedral grounds.

Chief Superintendent Dave Buckley of Norfolk Constabulary was unable to say why Ms Lord left work early that day adding: “Some of this behaviour is out of character, we can’t explain some of her behaviour that day.”

Chief Superintendent at Avon and Somerset Constabulary John Buckley said in a press conference earlier this week the footage had not lead to any new lines of inquiry.

He said: “At the moment, there is nothing else the CCTV is showing us about who she may have spoken to, or any interaction she may have had.”

The last sighting of her is when she is seen walking along St Crispin’s Road towards Pitt Street and up St Augustine’s Street at 4.01pm.
