Latest as Russia claims Ukraine behind blast that killed parents and injured girl

Two people have been killed after explosions on a key bridge connecting the Crimean peninsula to Russia.

The blasts on the 12-mile Crimean bridge, a major supply artery for Russian troops fighting in Ukraine, left twisted metal barriers, debris and a damaged car on the bridge.

Russian officials described the incident as an “emergency” situation. It comes after another key bridge, the Kerch, was damaged by an explosion Moscow blamed on Ukraine.
