Dynamos beat Herentals as FC Platinum bounce back to winning ways

By Sports Reporter

DYNAMOS registered a rare victory against bogey side Herentals 2-1 at Rufaro Stadium, Saturday.

A second half brace by Donald Mudadi was enough for Dynamos to secure its first victory against Herentals since 2021.

Mudadi combined well with Emmanuel Ziocha, who provided both goals for the Harare giants.

Ziocha added impetus to Dynamos’ attack after replacing injured Valentine Kadonzvo on the brink of half time.

The attacking midfielder was a menace to the Herentals defence and probably delivered a brilliant pass to Mudadi, who slotted the ball into the nets in the 66th minute.

Ziocha delivered another assist to Mudadi in 86th minute to complete his brace before Herentals pulled one back two minutes later.

Elsewhere, log leaders Simba Bhora were held to a nill all draw Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab stadium while FC Platinum ended its four match winless with a 1-0 win over Highlanders at Mandava Stadium.

Green Fuel had a fruitful trip to Nyamhunga as they managed a 1-0 away win over ZPC Kariba.
