IDF says it has hit 600 Hamas targets in overnight Gaza bombardment

Israel’s military has struck around 600 Hamas targets in the past day, the country’s defence forces have said.

The attack comes as Israel continued to expand ground operations in the Gaza Strip, where Palestinian civilians are in dire need of fuel, food and clean water as the conflict enters its fourth week.

Around 30 trucks entered Gaza on Sunday in the largest aid convoy since the war between Israel and Hamas began, but humanitarian workers said the assistance still fell desperately short of what is needed after thousands of people broke into UN warehouses and took flour and basic hygiene products.
