Princess of Wales returns home to Windsor after abdominal surgery
The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery, two weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery.
Catherine is âmaking good progressâ, according to Kensington Palace, who confirmed the news early on Monday afternoon.
She left the London Clinic private hospital without any public appearance.
The exact nature of the surgery is still unknown, but the princess will need several weeks to recover and is not expected to undergo any royal duties until Easter. The princess had spent 13 nights in hospital.
Kensington Palace said the Prince and Princess of Wales wanted to send a âhuge thank youâ to the medical team at the hospital and for the âwell wishes they have received from around the worldâ.
Catherine was staying in the same hospital as the King, who visited her before he had a procedure for an enlarged prostate on Friday.
