Nigel Farage calls for entire board to resign after boss Dame Alison Rose quits

NatWest boss Dame Alison Rose has stepped down as chief executive with immediate effect after she admitted to being the source of an inaccurate story about Nigel Farage’s finances.

The NatWest Group board had initially said the banking chief retained their full confidence but pressure mounted after the Prime Minister was said to have concerns about her conduct.

Mr Farage called for a “cultural change” at NatWest and within the wider industry, as he promised to continue to campaign on account closures.
