Snow and ice warnings for drivers across UK as Arctic air brings -4°C blast
Weather warnings for snow and ice are in place across the UK as an Arctic blast sends temperatures plunging as low as -4°C.
Driversd have been warned of dangerous conitions on the roads, with some rural communities facing the threat of being temporarily cut off.
The Met Office meteorologist has said that temperatures will be about 5°C to 6°C lower than usual for this time of year.
