Boris Johnson angrily hits out at partygate report as Rishi Sunak avoids questions
The Prime Minister has avoided partygate questions on the morning the report concluding Boris Johnson misled Parliament is due to be released.
Asked whether he thought Mr Johnson should be allowed to be an MP, Rishi Sunak said he had not seen the report and it âwouldnât be right to commentâ.
It comes after Mr Johnson resigned as an MP after receiving the results of the investigation in advance, which he said found him guilty âregardless of the actual factsâ.
Last night, he called for senior Tory MP Sir Bernard Jenkin to quit the Privileges Committee for breaching lockdown regulations, in what has been called a âlast-ditch attemptâ to delay the report.
