One person dead after being hit by bus at Victoria Station in London

One person has died after being hit by a bus outside central London’s Victoria Bus Station.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a pedestrian was killed on Monday morning.

Multiple police cars and fire engines could be seen at the site shortly after 9.15am.

Pictures posted on social media appeared to show serious damage to a bus stop outside the station.

Footage showed a number 13 bus, which appeared to have crashed through the back of a bus stop. Shattered glass and metal wreckage can be seen around the stop.
