Community in shock after girl, 8, died at summer tea party

An eight-year-old girl has died and 15 other people have been injured after a Land Rover crashed into a girls’ school in Wimbledon on Thursday.

The Study Prep school was holding an end-of-year tea party for pupils when the crash happened around 10am.

A woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She remains in custody.
