Zim Diaspora Property Showcase USA: Datvest floats tangible investment opportunities

By Alois Vinga

ASSET management firm, Datvest is offering several tangible investment opportunities ahead of the Zim Diaspora Property Showcase USA-Canada.

The top event is slated to take place at The Westin Hotel, Dallas-Fort Worth, from April 24 to 27, 2025.

The upmarket event will bring together potential homebuyers, investors, and industry professionals to navigate opportunities in Zimbabwe’s attractive real estate. Reputable developers, property consultants, financial institutions and other key players will also converge to showcase their offerings.

Speaking ahead of the must-attend event, Datvest Managing Director Tendai Muzadzi said a full range of products will be on offer.

“We are offering a full range of real estate products, mortgages, stands, fully developed housing and also opportunities for partnerships with land owners, contractors and service providers. The key highlights to my presentation are the opportunities for real estate investment in Zimbabwe and the structures that allow the diaspora community to participate in a secure format, allowing for real returns in US$ above those generally achievable elsewhere,” he said.

He implored Zimbabweans based in the US and Canada  to appreciate the fact that  the Asset Management industry is quite stable and secure given the type of products which  have been  developed.

At Datvest, he said, the focus is on alternative investments which not only provides a tangible investment option but also adds to the country’s infrastructure development hence the need for the diaspora community to consider investing back home through Datvest – which offers a secure platform from a well regulated financial services group and access to their investments being well guaranteed on a digitally enabled CBZ platform called CBZ  touch.

“We have structures in place to conclude on transactions like purchasing a stand or house in Zimbabwe, obtaining a mortgage facility from our bank and opening a bank or investment account with CBZ,” he said.
