Liverpool XI vs Greuther Furth: Starting lineup, Szoboszlai injury latest and confirmed team news for friendly
The Reds began their pre-season fixture list with a 4-2 win over German side Karlsruher and now take on Furth in a behind-closed-doors clash this afternoon, before the focus shifts to Singapore and sterner tests against Leicester and Bayern Munich.
Jota scored twice and provided an assist as a substitute last time out and comes into the starting lineup today, with Cody Gakpo also starting in attack with Luis Diaz and youngster Ben Doak.

Szoboszlai misses out as a precaution due to an anke knock. Fellow new signing Alexis Mac Allister makes his first start against Furth, while Jurgen Klopp continues with Trent Alexander-Arnold in his new role.
The Reds boss opted to play the England star in a more traditional midfield berth earlier this week with Conor Bradley at right-back, and Klopp carries on that experiment here.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker starts after being left out against Karlsruher, while midfielders Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are both nearing returns from injury but aren’t risked yet.
Fabinho and Jordan Henderson do not feature, as the pair close in on respective big-money moves to Saudi Arabia.
