Energy bills expected to rise again as Ofgem set to release price cap
Energy bills are set to rise again, with industry regulator Ofgem ready to announce its price cap is increasing again.
Analysts predict average household bills are likely to rise by 5 per cent from their current level, to about £1,931 a year.
The forecasts suggest that the typical bill will then fall to £1,853 from the start of April, but will not drop below today’s level until July next year.
