Teacher strikes to end as members of NEU union accept 6.5% pay rise
The UK’s largest teaching union has voted to call off strike action after members accepted a 6.5 per cent pay offer, marking an end to a long-running pay dispute.
Members of the National Education Union (NEU) in England voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Government’s latest pay offer in a recent ballot, with 86 per cent supporting it on a turnout of 60 per cent.
